This is a boxed set of 7 vintage English silver plate dessert spoons, trifle spoons or berry spoons made in Sheffield, England with pretty art deco paneled handles with a flower motif and a shell bowls made in the 1940-1960s. The large spoon or serving spoon measures 8.5 inches long and the individual spoons are 5.25 inches long. The spoons are marked are of silver plated metal with maker's mark saying Stainless Chromium On Nickel Plate. The spoons are in excellent condition although in need of a bit of a clean with no plate loss. The spoons look actually never to have been used. The original fitted box is in excellent condition with embossed brass locks and brass spoon holders intact and fitting well but the exterior of the faux leather box has some spotting and soiling and 1 inch
