Made in the late 1960s in England by JW Young & Sons when Orvis stopped importing the Lightweight series reels from Hardy Bros. Setup for left hand retrieve. Original Orvis zippered case included as well as a like new Cortland Sylk DT5 line. 

This reel comes from the estate of legendary bamboo rod maker, John Bradford. Mr. Bradford wrote or etched identification marks on most if not all of his reels. Mike Clark at South Creek Ltd. sold many of Mr. Bradford's reels some time ago and this came from that special sale.
